Roadworthy Inspections

Get your vehicle assessed for a roadworthy certificate

Motolec is an authorised Queensland roadworthy station – we can perform roadworthy inspections and issue roadworthy certificates (or safety certificates as they are also known). We can perform roadworthies for cars up to 4.5 tonnes and trailers up to 3.5 tonnes.

Our roadworthy service:

  • Our auto mechanic is an authorised roadworthy inspector
  • If anything requires a repair, we can provide a quote on the spot
  • If necessary, we can perform a service or repair to bring your vehicle up to standard
  • We won’t leave you waiting all day – it only takes [client to please insert here how long it takes – e.g. 1 hour]

What happens during a roadworthy?

During the roadworthy inspection, we will check your vehicle and perform all necessary assessments as outlined by industry authorities. If your vehicle passes, we can issue an official roadworthy certificate. The inspection will take into account the overall safety of the vehicle and will cover:

  • Tyres
  • Brakes
  • Steering
  • Suspension
  • Batteries
  • Windscreen
  • Lights
  • Oil leaks
